The Daycare is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
The kids are to be in the Daycare by 9:30am. (See Attendance)
The "Lunch Time" meets daily between 12:00pm and 1:30pm.
The Nap Time 2:00pm to 4:00 pm
Parents are to please STRICTLY respect the 5:00pm closing hour of the Daycare. A late Pick-up Fee of three ($2) dollars per child per minute will be charged for children picked up after 5:00pm according to the Daycare office clock. If you are delayed, as a courtesy, please phone or email the daycare as soon as possible.
A Day off
If you are to pick up your child from the Daycare for an outing (e.g. lunch date, or for any other reason) after Lunch hours the Daycare wish that you take the rest of the day off. So that the other children in the Daycare won’t be interrupt or disturb.
If any student information changes (e.g. address, parental contact numbers, pick up arrangements), the Daycare must be immediately notified in writing.
You and your child will be invited to visit the Daycare prior to starting. On the first two days of daycare, you and your child will be welcome to come into the Daycare for one hour per day to get to know the teacher and the Daycare. On the third day of daycare, we ask that you say your good-byes at the door and encourage your child to come into the daycare with the teacher.
Toys from home are not encouraged on a daily basis, although a favorite cuddly toy for comfort is allowed.
Release of Students
When anyone other than the parent, guardian, or other authorized adult is asked to pick up a child from the Daycare, the following procedures MUST be followed:
The teacher must be given, emailed or a signed letter from the parent stating the name of the person to pick up the child.
The person picking up the child MUST carry a photo ID to show the teacher upon arrival.
Doctor’s appointments please advice the Daycare days in advance.
Illness and Absenteeism
Please do not send your child to the Daycare if they show signs of: (first two days)
If a child shows any of these signs at the Daycare, parents will be contacted and asked to pick up their child.
Medicine will NOT be administered by the teacher.
In case of emergency, parents (or, alternatively, the emergency contact person) will be contacted immediately.
The Daycare is very much a "Fun & Educational" and we wish to keep disturbances to a minimum. Parents are welcome to visit, or to meet with the teacher, but prior appointments are important. We do encourage parents to enquire about day-to-day occurrences, either verbally or through written notes.
The Daycare will create a peanut-free environment for the safety of the children. We ask you to support this gesture and to not send any peanuts or food with traces of peanuts with your children.
If you would like your child to celebrate their birthday in the Daycare, please let the teacher know well in advance. We welcome birthday cake for the occasion, as well as napkins, paper plates and plastic cutlery, candles and balloons. Family and friends are always welcome.
Please ensure that your child is well dressed for the winter, in case of severe weather.

Canada Day is usually July 1st. If July 1st falls on Sunday, Monday July 2nd replaces July 1st as the statutory holiday.
